Frank Sinatra called Tom Jobim in '67 to the bar and restaurant where he was and invited him recording an album. They recorded 3 albums. Tom Jobim would spend hours at Sinatra's mansion in Beverly Hills preparing recordings; he said that Sinatra was very kind, very refined, and polite.
