Tenório Jr. was a famous pianist from the 60s and 70s, during the Bossa Nova and cool jazz era. When he toured Argentina for shows, he was mistaken for a terrorist and taken to the feared Navy Mechanics School commanded by Admiral Emílio Massera. He was seen in the courtyard and then disappeared. His remains were found last week in a vacant lot in Buenos Aires. He was friends with famous musicians such as Tom Jobim, Elis Regina and Vinícius de Moraes, and they all asked the Argentine authorities for information about his whereabouts since the time of the military regime.
